Village of Sterling Ridge

Located in the heart of The Woodlands, Sterling Ridge Village is home to the Gary Player Signature Championship golf course, designed by the legendary golfer himself. This newer residential area of The Woodlands is home to nearly 9,000 residents in over 3,300 homes and boasts a range of recreation and neighborhood conveniences.

The parks in Sterling Ridge, including Cranebrooke Park, Terramont Park, Carlton Woods Park, and Artist Grove Park, offer outstanding recreational amenities such as a water park, Frisbee golf course, skateboarding, and small-dog park. The Sterling Ridge Park’n’Ride is located on McBeth Way near the YMCA and library, while the Woodlands Family YMCA at Branch Crossing is located on Ashlane Way.

There are over a dozen dining establishments in the Village of Sterling Ridge, including Starbucks, The Woodlands Gourmet Bakery, Perry’s Steakhouse, Brother’s Pizza, and Zoe’s Kitchen. Two public swimming pools are also available in the village: Cranebrook Spray & Swimming Pool and Shadowbend Pool and Spray Pad.

Sterling Ridge is also home to several schools, including the Joel L. Deretchin K-6 school, Coulson Tough K-6, The Woodlands High School Ninth Grade Campus, and Smith Elementary (MISD), which serves the new neighborhood of May Valley in west Sterling Ridge. The George and Cynthia Woods Mitchell Library is also located in Sterling Ridge.

For shopping, residents can enjoy the convenient neighborhood shopping at Sterling Ridge Village Center, which features a Kroger Signature store, Walgreens drug store, Perry’s Steakhouse & Grill, and Nit Noi restaurants, among other shops and services. Another retail area is located at the western entrance to The Woodlands, which features a Wal-Mart SuperCenter, along with several shops and eateries.

Sterling Ridge Village Association provides civic and social opportunities, and their board member listings can be found on the association’s website. Residents of Sterling Ridge can also access additional community resources such as the Sterling Ridge Village Bylaws.
